Provided comprehensive consulting to Virgin Media to ensure authentic and equitable disability representation throughout a production’s lifecycle. From script analysis to on-set accessibility, our work helped create an inclusive and supportive environment for Disabled talent while shaping a production that embraced universal design principles.

- Script & Messaging Review: Assessed and refined language, ensuring respectful and accurate disability representation.
- Storyboard & Access Planning: Evaluated production logistics, identifying and addressing accessibility requirements for Disabled talent before and during filming.
- Casting Support: Helped source and identify Disabled talent, encouraged incidental and intersectional casting, and ensured video auditions were fully accessible.
- On-Set Accessibility: Provided an Access & Disability Consultant to oversee accommodations, sourced qualified interpreters and PAs, and created an access roadmap for talent with sensory or cognitive access needs.
- Education & Training: Answered questions from non-disabled personnel, guided teams on appropriate language and phrasing, and fostered an inclusive production culture.
- Post-Production Accessibility: Ensured all content was captioned, integrated image descriptions for social media, and provided consultancy on audio description, embedding accessibility from pre-production to final release.
Impact:
With over 2.7M views on Youtube they successfully implemented accessibility best practices at every stage of production, they demonstrated that thoughtful inclusion leads to richer storytelling, greater authenticity, and a more equitable industry for Disabled creatives.
